Single carrier solution

With our 5G single-cable indoor coverage system, RF signal MIMO (multiple input multiple output) effect can be achieved through the original single cable.

Our remote unit automatically adjusts the dual-channel power balance, and always controls the power difference between the two channels of the dual-polarized antenna within 1dB to achieve the optimal transmission effect.

While the original feed cable remains unchanged, once adopting our single-cable indoor coverage system, you only need to install the local unit behind 5G RRU, and replace the passive coupler and original antenna respectively with a feeding coupler and a remote unit. Without large-scale reconstruction, renovation and property coordination, the construction cost is decreased by at least 3 times and the construction period decreases by 4/5. 

The power consumption at full load of the local unit is ≤30W and that of the local unit is ≤6W, the average daily power consumption of 30 pairs of antennas is 0.3KWh, indicating an extremely low maintenance cost.

Our indoor coverage system is furnished with a operate maintenance patrol inspection to monitor and manage the status of the antenna and the line in real time.


Prospect of indoor coverage
5G typical business scenarios include cloud VR/AR, high-speed video, intelligent manufacturing and wireless medical service, etc. and all these scenarios are set indoors. The flow demand of the 5G indoor coverage system is predicted to exceed 4G.
4G network data analysis in 2019 shows that the average daily single-carrier flow of small indoor coverage stations was higher than the average daily flow of a macro base station, which indicated the importance of indoor coverage for flow absorption. 
In the 5G era, the indoor coverage flow absorption ability plays an increasingly important role and has a great impact on user experience. Therefore, indoor coverage system becomes increasingly important in the 5G era relative to 4G network.
Pain spots of 5G indoor coverage system

The massive single-channel DAS indoor coverage system cannot achieve a multi-channel 5G coverage effect.

Over 80% of existing domestic indoor coverage systems are a feed cable-based DAS system, which mainly consists of signal source and an indoor coverage system comprised of trunk device, combiner, power splitter, coupler, coaxial cable and antenna, and they can realize 2G/3G/4G indoor coverage. Such systems cannot be directly transformed into a 5G indoor coverage system for 2T2R (double transceiver).

The new digital indoor coverage system cannot be popularized extensively due to high construction cost. 

The optical fiber/network cable-based new digital indoor coverage system has the advantages of high transmission power, large coverage area and 5G upgrade, but it has very low market shares due to great construction difficulty and high construction cost. Especially for buildings with a lot of partitions, it needs more devices and the cost is too high.

5G indoor coverage system, especially in the initial stage, should be transformed and upgraded to increase 5G users to enhance the user experience and build a brand image of 5G.
